Due to the high food safety requirements, a complete washing and peeling processing line for spring onions is now necessary.The frame of the machine is made entirely of stainless steel. This makes the machine maintenance-free. The machine has been carried out in accordance with the requirements set by the ARBO, ISO 9001 and CE.After the spring onions have been harvested by machine, they are placed horizontally in the machine. The machine turns the spring onions upright and by means of high pressure nozzles with water and air the outer leaves are sprayed loose, after which they are peeled off. After this, the roots are washed and cut 5 to 8 mm. The spring onions are then cut to the desired length.
