The chrysanthemum harvester is suitable for harvesting chrysanthemums or other flowers using a monorail system from the greenhouse heating system. In its process there is no deterioration of the flowers and its high yield, makes this chrysanthemum harvester an essential machine for chrysanthemum and lilium growers. The chrysanthemum harvester is a compact, light and low maintenance machine that guarantees substantial cuts in processing costs.<\/p>\n
The chrysanthemum harvester operates from the central aisle of the greenhouse. The harvesting belt can be used both to the right and to the left of the aisle. This belt is deployed along the length of the bench by means of a motorized support which moves the belt together with its sliding hangers, leaving the belt completely horizontal with the crop without actually touching it. Once this motorized support reaches the end of the belt path, it is tightened by connecting to the machine. Later the flower stems (5-10) are cut and aligned and placed on the belt with a space of 40 cm for each bouquet. The route of the bouquets begins from the field to the machine where the length of the bouquets are measured, cut, defoliated and finally tied and ready to sleeve.
